The main goal of the Business Assistance and Housing Development Department is to help the people of Oroville by offering community services, decent housing, and more chances for businesses to grow. This department manages different projects and programs that are funded primarily by grants from the government (federal and state), local funds, and other sources. Grants and other funding sources include Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Home Investment Partnerships (HOME), CalHome, Permanent Local Housing Allocation (PLHA), and Revolving Loan Funds.
Business Assistance
The City of Oroville does not currently have any Business Assistance programs.
Housing Development
The City of Oroville has set up programs to help people find good, safe, clean, and affordable places to live. These programs are mostly for families and individuals who meet certain income requirements and who already live in Oroville or want to find housing here.
